Any applicant may apply for more than one scholarship at the same time by submitting corresponding application materials for each scholarship which can be emailed to the scholarship committee or uploaded to the dropbox link below. Outstanding Achievement Award
The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation celebrates and awards scholastic achievement through a multitude of scholarships. The Outstanding Achievement Award ($1,500) is awarded annually in the spring of each year to deserving high school students in the District of Columbia. The scholarship application materials will be available online by March of each year.
Dorothy Harris Scholarship Award
The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation celebrates and awards scholastic achievement through a multitude of scholarships. The Dorothy Harris Scholarship Award ($1,000) is awarded annually in the spring of each year to deserving high school students in the District of Columbia. The scholarship application materials will be available online by March of each year.
Dr. Shirley G. Mitchell Scholarship Award
The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation celebrates and awards scholastic achievement through a multitude of scholarships. The Dr. Shirley G. Mitchell Scholarship Award ($1,000) is awarded annually in the spring of each year to deserving high school students in the District of Columbia. The scholarship application materials will be available online in March of each year.
The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation is pleased to present this new scholarship award the Kay Merrill Phi Sigma Rhoer Scholarship ($500). This scholarship is available to graduating members of the Phi Sigma Rhoer Club only.
Kay Merrill Phi Sigma Rhoer Scholarship
The Yellow Tea Rose Foundation is pleased to present this new scholarship award for undergraduate students only. Preference is given to members of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority Inc. at the University of the District of Columbia, Howard University, and American University but all undergraduates are welcome to apply ($1,000).
